Marlene Ribeiro aka Negra Branca has been providing melodic and tonal dreamscapes for the Gnod Mothership since 2008. Tesla Tapes first released a version of this her debut album on 50 cassettes that sold out fast in January 2013, so we are very pleased to release this updated version on vinyl as a debut release for the new ONOTESLA label . 
The album has 2 new tracks Importa & Those 27, which sit beautifully in the mix with the older tracks and demonstrate Marlene's ear for sombre pop harmonies and deep hypnotic bass lines. 
Everything here from early Tricky style lurching, choral pop and favela stomp, all coated in a sticky glaze of sweet n sour chilli sauce .If a recent show with Lonnie Holley is anything to go by then catching Marlene do her stuff live live is an exciting prospect not to be missed. 300 copies on Black Vinyl with recycled sleeves and polythene Jacket.
